Corton Ridge Limited (CRL) is a family-owned property investment and development business built on experience, long-term thinking, and a hands-on approach to managing and growing our portfolio. We specialise in the sensitive transformation of heritage buildings and underperforming, outdated assets into financially sustainable, future-ready properties, combining respect for the past with a disciplined, commercial mindset.
 

What began as a small venture—acquiring commercial property within our family SSAS as part of our retirement planning—soon evolved into something more ambitious. As we developed our expertise, delivered successful projects, and deepened our understanding of the market, we transitioned from hobby developers into a structured, strategically driven business with a clear area of specialism. Today, CRL is run by four family members who bring complementary professional strengths across finance, compliance, surveying, development, and project management.

As a family enterprise, we share a long-term vision: to create enduring value through carefully selected opportunities, particularly where heritage or ‘out-of-date’ buildings can be repositioned to meet modern occupier needs while remaining commercially robust. Our approach is rooted in identifying smaller-scale, often overlooked opportunities, i.e. assets that may be constrained by age, design, or changing market demands, and are therefore considered difficult to reposition or underutilised. Through thoughtful design, careful restoration, and a clear understanding of end-user requirements, we unlock viable uses and deliver schemes that are both practical and financially sustainable.
